### UPDATE 7/9/26: Donors can limit their donations to archival research by making a note in their comment. THANK YOU! ###

Your tax-deductible donation is essential to the preservation of this history. Donations pay for things that grants don’t and they provide matching funds. Every $1 that you donate can have the impact of $2-$5! Our fiscal sponsor Community Partners is a registered 501c3 with an Employee ID Number of 95-4302067.

The legacy that we create togethers will last for generations.

Donations over $1,000 can be acknowledged on a page on our website. If you would like to acknowledge an ancestor, we would be honored to include years of life, the farm location and a quote.

ABOUT US
The Kansha History Project is a community-based, volunteer-powered history initiative that is transcribing thousands of federal farm property records and making them available to families. In the last two years, 200+ volunteers have transcribed 7,000+ records. More than 2,200 people have attended community events and over 95% have said that they would recommend the events. We have also returned more than 500 farm records to families. Our goal is to transcribe 18,000-20,000 records by 2030! Please be a part of this journey!
